In our latest collaboration with Cif, we brought the Sakura products to the screen with two films that reflect both the brand’s heritage and Pomus’s animation-driven storytelling approach.
In the Cif Cream Sakura film, we built a playful and energetic vortex animation made up of objects commonly associated with the product’s effectiveness.
As the sequence spins toward its climax, we transition from animation to live action. The effectiveness of Cif Cream on surfaces like stovetops, pans, and sinks is then presented through a fast-cut sequence. This playful and engaging visual approach allows us to demonstrate the product’s power in a short and memorable way.
When it comes to filmmaking, I believe the key to success is collaborating with talented people. When you enjoy the creative process, the result shows it. In this case, animation and live action came together beautifully.

The Cif Spray Sakura film begins with a fast steadicam shot of our actor aiming the spray directly at the camera. Through the use of 3D animation, we visualize the spray’s dissolving action on a greasy kitchen hood
As with the cream film, a rapid-cut sequence follows, showcasing the product’s effectiveness on surfaces such as oven glass, window edges, and the hood itself.
Both films reflect Pomus’s distinctive animation style and technical fluency, while also staying true to the established visual language of the Cif brand. Since the goal was to introduce the effectiveness of Cif’s legacy products to a younger generation, a fun and dynamic tone was embraced. This intention was supported by fast-paced editing, kinetic camera work, and a soundtrack selected to match the film’s energetic rhythm.
