For the Daily Perfection commercial we shot with Esra Bilgiç, we chose to open the film with a manifesto-driven approach to the idea of beauty. At the core of the film is a clear statement: you do not need rules, exaggeration, or artificial filters to feel beautiful, and you do not need salt to have beautiful hair. From that starting point, the film opens with a manifesto structure that strengthens the message, while the beauty shots that follow further reinforce BrandLift’s creative direction and the brand’s point of view.
In the opening scene, we built an abstract world around the mirror, a space that supports the brand’s premium feel and also serves as the first place where one’s gaze turns inward. By moving through the character and her reflections, BrandLift’s concept aimed to create a powerful opening that challenges conventional ideas of beauty from the very first frame. The manifesto begins here, taking a clear stand against existing beauty norms.
The film then expands its message by addressing the artificial filters imposed by the digital world. Within this abstract setting, Esra Bilgiç breaks apart the uniform beauty standards we so often see on social media by throwing those filters upward and out of the frame. Along the manifesto axis, we aimed to create a seamless and fluid narrative by connecting scenes through transitions shaped by camera movement.
In the final scene of the manifesto section, we see the character in an exaggerated styling setup during a photo shoot. With a single hand gesture, she transforms that look. Esra Bilgiç reveals her hair and natural beauty, establishing direct contact with the audience. At that moment, the film delivers its central message in a clear and striking way: “You don’t need salt for beautiful hair.”
In the salt explosion shot that follows, the damage salt causes to the hair is conveyed to the audience through a more realistic demo structure. From there, the film builds further through product application and beauty shots, gradually rising toward its own climax.

In the final moments, we see Esra Bilgiç in a bright, luminous atmosphere, with her hair moving freely. The message is emphasized once more alongside the product, and the film comes to a close.
