For GQ Turkey MOTY, one of the most popular award ceremonies in our country, we were asked to shoot a video featuring all award winners. Since the ceremony would be a hit parade and the timeframe, we could bring everybody together was very limited, we needed to create a concept first. The “Western” concept, which was also the theme of the cover photos, was an inspiration for our video. We created a movie in the form of a trailer for a multi-hero Western.

We generated a timeline that would link each award winner to a different Western story. Meanwhile, different characters such as cowboys of the wild west, outlaws, and rising stars were born in this imaginary world.

Although time was tight, sites and sets were designed to complement the characters’ photos and create suitable backgrounds to fit them in. Within a tiny utopian Western set where countless famous faces like Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, Refik Anadol, Aras Bulut İynemli, and Demet Evgar were screened, a spectacular opening film worthy of an award ceremony emerged.
