A man goes to a Barber Shop for a haircut and finds himself in a magical setting. Special equipment and bizarre hair growing techniques transform him into many different versions of himself.
“What would it be like if we went to the barber shop regularly for the opposite reason than the usual?” is the question that inspired Barber’s Cut. Trying to find the answer to this question in collaboration with talented teammates is what made this project so enjoyable.
"Being both the director and the actor of a movie and trying to create an illusion by slowly wiggling like a puppet in every shot may be the most challenging way of filmmaking."

Beren Tekin, who made the storyboard and the artbook of the movie, and Ömer Faruk Yaman, who created the illustrations carried Barber’s Cut to a different level than we imagined. At the end of the day, we created an original work and experienced how creativity can introduce us to such wide horizons.
"Barber’s Cut was accepted to more than 20 festivals around the world and received awards. Thanks to this movie, my directing career started."
