We rolled up our sleeves and started cooperating with SOTKA for Eti Tutku’s contest campaign where participants would win a Vespa and a drone. The brand wanted to deliver this campaign using a catchy theme for the target audience. We came up with the ideal solution for this campaign in Rube Goldberg machines.
Rube Goldberg is an American cartoonist. He is the inventor and the father of a mechanism that is based on the principle that generally disconnected objects trigger each other successively. These machines are inventions that feed on the action-reaction theory and manage to impress the viewers by introducing unexpected innovations at every single stage.
“I remember like it was yesterday, breaking my toys as a kid and making new inventions. This project allowed me to fulfill my childhood dream.”

While designing an exclusive Rube Goldberg for Eti Tutku, we aimed not to drift apart from the brand identity and wanted to reflect it in every part of the machine.
For our Eti Tutku machine to work properly, we looked for answers to various mathematical and engineering questions together with our art team for about a month. Finally, after working round the clock, we were able to decide how our machine would run.
When we were ready for shooting, seeing the machine tangibly set up was priceless. The moment we heard the word “action”, the way our team was focused on how the machine ran was a sign that our project would be successful.
“It worked!”
